1. -(medical) hypertension, diabetes, flue, cold, cough, tonsillitis, muscle aches, joint pain, headaches, gastritis, etc.
   

2. -(dental) toothaches, cavities, etc.
   

3. -Prescription of medication to patients.
   

4. -One physician will usually see 15-20 patients
   

5. -One dentist will usually see 8-12 patients
   

6. -Lunch is provided!
   

Clinic Timeline- One day event

1. -6am depart from Tucson
   

2. -8-8:30am arrive at clinic (Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico)
   

3. -9am clinic begins
   

4. -12:30pm lunch
   

5. -2:00pm end of clinic
   

6. -4:30-5:30pm back in Tucson!
   

Supervision of Medical Students

1. •Medical students participate in clinics to enhance their clinical skills. Students may present findings to provider (physician/PA/NP) and suggest treatment. Providers then evaluate patient and provide students with feedback.
   

Shadowing of Pre-Health Students

1. •Pre-health students are present in examining rooms (medical and dental) to gain first hand exposure of primary health care.
   

Interpreters

1. •Providers who do not speak Spanish will be provided with an interpreter.
