Requirements:

1. •University of Arizona student (undergraduate or graduate)
   

2. •$35 membership dues (annual fee)
   

3. •Passport (only required for clinics)
   

4. •Fill out Member application and Liability Waiver

Membership

Club members receive great hands-on experience

1. •triage: includes taking vitals (temperature, blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, height, medical history, etc.)
   

1. •interpretation: students who are able to speak spanish fluently have the opportunity to work close with health care providers as interpreters
   

1. •dental assisting: sterilization of dental equipment, suction, handing tools, anesthetic preparation, and much more.
   

1. •pharmacy assisting: Students assist at the onsite pharmacy by providing patients with prescribed medication (as directed by the licensed provider), dosage and administration is also explained.
   

1. •health education: includes Presentations on prevalent diseases in the community (diabetes, hypertension, etc.), education on: diet, exercise, sanitary habits, disease control, and much more.
   

Dual membership

1. •Membership to Flying Sams UA is also good for Flying Samaritans Tucson Chapter membership.
